It baffles me why schools are actively promoting typing over handwriting.
I mean is almost like they are actively pushing children into increasing stress or at the very least not equipping them to manage it better.
De-equipping is what I am calling it.
When I look at the long list of benefits I can not wrap my head around why people shy away from picking up a pen. You can find all my research in Cosmical Journaling Guide
A study by Pennebaker and subsequently Stephen Lepore, and Joshua Smyth reported some mind-blowing physical benefits from the studies they did. There will be a lot more studies included in my new book Cosmical – coming soon.

I hear you – how – how is it possible that some ink and paper can improve your immune system?
Glad you asked – it all leads back to stress.
The effects stress has on the body makes me want to reduce it as much as humanly possible.
This is how I see it:
Journaling โฉ reduces stress, which in turn โฉ Improves the immune system, which leads to โฉ improved physical health.
If you fancy a bite of this pie then here are my 5 steps to getting started:
1๏ธโฃ Pick one area of your life that is important to you (health and fitness, personal development, mental clarity – whatever is important to YOU)
2๏ธโฃ Decide what your commitment is to writing about it
3๏ธโฃ Ask strong questions, get some prompts if required
4๏ธโฃ Review and adjust – at least weekly
5๏ธโฃ Do it for 4 months

Oh and for the record I have not needed to go to the doctor for the past 5 years, and only got slammed by covid and taken out of action for 2 days. Safe to say my immune system is robust. Now I know why
If you do this I would love to hear how it goes.
